Daddy, Papa, Heavenly Father. First and foremost God is your ever-loving father. He is a Father like no other, Heloves you more than you can know and He cares for you as if you were His only child. Compassionate. Good. Our God is so good. Kind. Humorous. Fun-to-be-with. The source for all blessings. The source for anything you will ever need. Always attentive to your needs. His love for you has no boundaries. There is no beginning or end to it. It always was, is and is to come.
Like a Father, He disciplines and guides you. Like the sweetest kindest Father who watches his baby taking their first steps, God watches over you. He lets go of your hand for just a second and if andwhen you fall, He does not chide you, He carefully lifts you up, dusts you off and encourages you to try again .He is the ultimate encourager.. He created you in His image and adores you. He does not see your mistakes, He looks at you as His beloved. He spoke you into existence. He knows everything about you. Heeven knows every hair on your head.
Yet He is Holy. That is an extreme concept to take in because we as humans are not holy. God is pure, without blame. Absolute perfection. Pure light no darkness yet He longs for you to be like Him. He does not judge you butHe wants that more for youthan anything. You are His child. He even gave His Son to die on the cross to enable you to become holy. To be free from sin.
He knows your rising up and your sitting down. He knows your comings and goings. You do not make a move without Him knowing where you are going or what you are doing. He is the most doting Father you can imagine but never tells you what to do. He gently and tenderly guides you in the right direction. Even when you are rebellious and turn away from Him, He stands there with arms wide open waiting for your return. “Return to me and I will return to you, “ He says lovingly.
There is pain in this life. The world we live inis dark and broken. He is light and love. He calls each of us out of the darkness and into His wonderful light. He spoke into the darkness and void of this world and created the light. He teaches you how to live in this world in His presence. His presence will sustain you, comfort you andHis glory is in you and all around you.
Your perception OF God is only limited to your experience WITH God. The more time you spend with Him, the bigger He gets. The more you understand about Him. You experience His kindness, His mercy, His love and you wonder how you ever lived without it?The more you realize that ALL THINGS are possible with GOD. You see the magnitude of the things He does in your life and the life of others that know Him. Nothing is too hard for God.
When you pass through the waters,Hewill ALWAYSbe with you; When you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire,you will not be burned; and the flames will not set you ablaze. He is the Lord God Almighty, His Word is His covenant, it is better than gold.
